Nestled in the slow-paced town of Hualien's Fenglin,
We used to be just a quiet restaurant and guesthouse that accompanied travelers.
But ever since the earthquake last year,
The only sound left in the quiet room was the dehumidifier.
Occupancy rates are on a continuous decline, typhoons are hitting one after another, train services are suspended, and roads are cut off—
These natural disasters seem to test the resilience of the people of Hualien.
This time, the one thing we never expected was the "Guangfu barrier lake" incident.
When the news came that day, my heart sank.
Three of our colleagues are also in the disaster area.
After discussing with the boss, we decided to hesitate no longer,
Launch the "Volunteer Workshop Free Accommodation" policy immediately.
From September 23 to October 11,
During this time, we welcomed nearly 600 volunteer residents,
Washrooms, camping, and resting for over 600 people.
We are really glad to be of some help,
Let Guangfu recover its homeland sooner.
Until 10/4, when labor costs were suffocating us,
The appearance of the "House Donation Superman" has allowed us to keep going.
